I know you’ve heard the promise “If you like your current insurance you can keep it.” Yes, the anointed on has been hawking that phrase over and over ad nauseum.
But, there’s a lot he’s not saying. Gee, are you surprised? By now, you should be used to his lies, lack of transparency, and deceit.
If you have read the bill you know I am not lying.
Case and point. Let’s go back to my opening sentence. You’ve heard him say it and you probably feel good that you have insurance and think none of this will affect you because you can keep your insurance. You probably have a warm fuzzy going on thinking you are supporting a good thing. Something that will take care of all of “those” people. Surprise, you are one of “those” people.
Let me explain.
When BO says you can keep your current insurance, he is right. But, he stops short of the truth.
Here’s a clip from the bill. This was mentioned on FaceBook so some of you have seen this. I felt it was important enough to expand on this.
Read this:
SEC. 102. PROTECTING THE CHOICE TO KEEP CURRENT COVERAGE.
(a) Grandfathered Health Insurance Coverage Defined- Subject to the succeeding provisions of this section, for purposes of establishing acceptable coverage under this division, the term `grandfathered health insurance coverage' means individual health insurance coverage that is offered and in force and effect before the first day of Y1 if the following conditions are met:
(1) LIMITATION ON NEW ENROLLMENT-
(A) IN GENERAL- Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1.
There it is plain as day. What does it mean? It means you can keep your current coverage but if you move jobs and get new insurance—NOT GONNA HAPPEN. If you try to change your private insurance—NOT GONNA HAPPEN. After the first day of Y1 effective date you are screwed. Re-read it and see it for yourself.
This came to light via an article in Investor’s Business Daily. From this article I searched the bill and sure enough they are telling the truth.
Here’s the article
When we first saw the paragraph Tuesday, just after the 1,018-page document was released, we thought we surely must be misreading it. So we sought help from the House Ways and Means Committee.
It turns out we were right: The provision would indeed outlaw individual private coverage. Under the Orwellian header of "Protecting The Choice To Keep Current Coverage," the "Limitation On New Enrollment" section of the bill clearly states:
"Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day" of the year the legislation becomes law.
So we can all keep our coverage, just as promised — with, of course, exceptions: Those who currently have private individual coverage won't be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers.
From the beginning, opponents of the public option plan have warned that if the government gets into the business of offering subsidized health insurance coverage, the private insurance market will wither. Drawn by a public option that will be 30% to 40% cheaper than their current premiums because taxpayers will be funding it, employers will gladly scrap their private plans and go with Washington's coverage.
The nonpartisan Lewin Group estimated in April that 120 million or more Americans could lose their group coverage at work and end up in such a program. That would leave private carriers with 50 million or fewer customers. This could cause the market to, as Lewin Vice President John Sheils put it, "fizzle out altogether."
What wasn't known until now is that the bill itself will kill the market for private individual coverage by not letting any new policies be written after the public option becomes law.
The legislation is also likely to finish off health savings accounts, a goal that Democrats have had for years. They want to crush that alternative because nothing gives individuals more control over their medical care, and the government less, than HSAs.
With HSAs out of the way, a key obstacle to the left's expansion of the welfare state will be removed.
The public option won't be an option for many, but rather a mandate for buying government care. A free people should be outraged at this advance of soft tyranny.
Washington does not have the constitutional or moral authority to outlaw private markets in which parties voluntarily participate. It shouldn't be killing business opportunities, or limiting choices, or legislating major changes in Americans' lives.
It took just 16 pages of reading to find this naked attempt by the political powers to increase their reach. It's scary to think how many more breaches of liberty we'll come across in the final 1,002. Click here for the source article

Next I received the newsletter from Sean Hannity. He had picked up on this little tidbit buried in the Healthcare bill. I haven’t seen the video but I’m sure it will be posted by Monday. However, here’s what was included in the newsletter.
Outlawing Private Coverage
Sean went into depth today describing what Investor’s Business Daily first discovered late yesterday about ObamaCare – a provision that would make individual private medical insurance illegal {Article - Investor's Business Daily}.
Sure enough, buried deep in the recesses of the 1,018-page health care bill is the disclaimer, “except as provided in this paragraph, the individual insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day” of the year the legislation becomes law.
So, as the Investor’s Business Daily article concludes, we can all keep our coverage with two exceptions: “those who currently have private individual coverage won’t be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers.”
What does that mean in the long run? “It means everybody is going to be forced into the so-called government option, which is government run health care,” Sean fumed. Additionally, the bill does not propose the sort of changes needed to reign in the skyrocketing costs of government run health programs like Medicaid and Medicare.
“This will bankrupt the country. We cannot afford this,” Sean vented. Limited choices and higher costs? Welcome to ObamaCare.
Next we have the information coming down from the CBO. In a nutshell the CBO says this bill will NOT save money and decrease the deficit. Gee, I’m so surprised. Seriously, it will only add to our deficit.
Here’s a clip:
. . .According to CBO’s and JCT’s assessment, enacting H.R. 3200 would result in a
net increase in the federal budget deficit of $239 billion over the 2010-2019 period. . .

So, if this is still something you want to take part of you need to watch this then think about it.
Still want it? How about moving!!! Personally, I am doing what I can by calling and calling and calling telling these clowns NOT to pass this horrible, horrible freedom stripping bill.
Now you should understand why BO wants to push this through as fast as he can. He knows what he’s doing and he doesn’t want you to have enough time to see what he’s doing. Also, he doesn’t want congress to go on break and start talking to their constituents. This is by design and we must STOP this.
Didn’t read the bill? See the post before this one and you can get all the information.
Didn’t call your reps? See the post before this one and you will see a link to contact congress.
If you love this country, wake up and join with other Americans and help stop this train wreck. Don’t let BO hoodwink you and convince you that this bill MUST be passed. If it is, he will win and we will lose even more freedoms. READ THE BILL!!!!!!!! Do something that Congress will NOT do.
Taxing wealthy folks is not the answer. Like I said before, I’ve never gotten a job from a poor person. If you tax wealthy people there’s a good chance you will lose your job. HAPPY?
As a final thought--This socialized, rationed healthcare is good enough for everyone. So, that should include the very Congress that is ramming this bill through the process, right? Yeah, maybe in a weird fantasy world.
Here’s the truth from the Wall Street Journal
Senators prefer the insurance they have.
In the health debate, liberals sing Hari Krishnas to the "public option" -- a new federal insurance program like Medicare -- but if it's good enough for the middle class, then surely it's good enough for the political class too? As it happens, more than a few Democrats disagree.
On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan. Yet all Democrats -- with the exceptions of acting chairman Chris Dodd, Barbara Mikulski and Ted Kennedy via proxy -- voted nay.
In other words, Sherrod Brown and Sheldon Whitehouse won't themselves join a plan that "will offer benefits that are as good as those available through private insurance plans -- or better," as the Ohio and Rhode Island liberals put it in a recent op-ed. And even a self-described socialist like Vermont's Bernie Sanders, who supports a government-only system, wouldn't sign himself up.
Of course, they also qualify now for generous Congressional coverage. Most Americans won't have the same choice. Some will be transferred to the new entitlement as it uses its taxpayer bankroll to dominate insurance markets. Others work for businesses that will find it easier to dump their policies and move employees to the federal rolls. Democrats also know that the public option will try to control health spending by squeezing payments made to doctors and hospitals, and by not paying for treatments that Washington decides are too expensive, which will result in inferior care.
No doubt Mr. Dodd acceded to the Coburn amendment to blunt such objections, and in any case he'll strip it out later in some backroom. Judd Gregg was the only GOP Senator to oppose it, on humanitarian grounds. As he told us in an interview, the public option "will be so bad that I don't think anyone should be forced to join."

If it’s good enough for the American people, why is Congress refusing the plan for themselves? Oh yeah, Because it’s a bad plan and no one wants rationed care and long wait times and inferior quality. Well, unless you are BO and want this forced on the nation.
When this passes, BO and his cronies will be sitting up on The Hill laughing at how stupid Americans are and how easy it was to transform this world into something he and his ACORN and Goldman Sachs cronies can completely control.
I will not be counted as a stupid sheep. How about you? Will you allow BO to herd you in any direction he chooses? If so, move and take him with you.
