Congress and the Administration do not care what you want. They will lie and do what they want. Take a look at Obama’s campaign promises. Remember how he chanted over an over that a person making less than $250,000 would not see ANY kind of tax increase. Well, it’s a lie and I knew it was at the time. You cannot spend with reckless disregard and not raise taxes. All kinds of taxes.
Congress does not care how they get the money. Hence the health benefits tax and the VAT tax. Of course no one in congress will breathe a word about how much they are going to screw us. Even though most of us do NOT want this Government controlled crap.
The only person to put out information on where the money is coming from is Senator Baucus. Here’s proof of the campaign lies. He says those making less than $100,000 will be taxed.
Now remember I showed you the provision that the Unions will NOT be affected by this. Their benefits will NOT be taxed. We have political favors being paid just to maintain a voting block and outright lying to the rest of us.
Listen to Cavuto.
Right now, as my intrepid colleague Peter Barnes reports, he's targeting workers earning at least $100,000 and couples making $200,000. But wouldn't it be grand if it ended there? It likely will not. Since it raises barely $167 billion over ten years, it only gets you a sixth of the way there. But it's a start. And for Baucus, it's a plan.
I bring up the lies, the spending, the insane deficit, the pending hyper-inflation as we are moving closer to ABC’s special with Obama hawking his healthcare. Remember this is as biased as it gets. No opposing ads are allowed and no alternative plans are allowed to be presented. It’s like I saw in an Op-Ed piece—ABC’s display of their man crush on Obama.
Anyway, this whole fiasco is a joke. Obama criticizes Fox for telling it like it is. I guess that’s what he has a problem with. He can’t tell it like it is. He will tell you anything so he can continue his march to total government control of this country.
This will catch up with him. As this piece says “Obama’s Slip is Showing.”
Obama's slip is showing: The public has growing doubts about his big plans
. . .He says the deficit keeps him awake at night, yet he spends his daytime hours adding to it, most recently with a health bill that would cost at least $1 trillion over 10 years.
Obama dares call this reform and says it will save money. Wisely, the public doesn't believe him. And just wait till voters get the bill for his carbon tax.
Even Congress is getting rebellious. The health bill is proving too expensive for some liberals who clamored for it and Obama's overhaul of financial services was met mostly with skepticism. . . click here for full article
Is the honeymoon over? I sure hope so.
ANDREA TANTAROS: Health Care Will End Obama's Honeymoon
The politician who has been billed as "untouchable" will soon be revealed for what he is: an amateur who lacks the credible answers and the ability to really lead.
. . .The Obama administration has yet to tell us why the government can successfully run universal health care when we can't even run the socialized health programs we already have in place: Medicare (which is hemorrhaging money) and Medicaid (which is putting many states in the red). As new reports surface that Obama lacks the support in Congress to pass this behemoth bill, expect it -- and his popularity numbers -- to fall apart, and fast. Look for a White House that will begin to scale back expectations. Still, the lack of details and support will likely quickly trigger a collapse in confidence. . . click here for the full article

Obama's Top Economic Adviser Says 'Public Option' Health Plan Will ‘Never’ Take Public Money
. . .“[T]he number of people who had coverage through an employer would decline by about 15 million (or roughly 10 percent), and coverage from other sources would fall by about 8 million,” the report said.
Representative Ryan also disagreed with Romer’s assertion that the public plan would compete fairly with private insurers because of the public money used to create it, a luxury not afforded to private insurance companies.
When asked by CNSNews.com if he thought the use of public start-up funds violated the administration’s fair competition pledge, Ryan answered, “Yes it does, yes it does.” click here for the full article
As a side note, I found this rather interesting. You know Obama is in bed with ABC and will be airing his government controlled presentation of his healthcare mess.
Check this out. This is from June 2008.
Here’s a petition that was posted on the internet.
Background
Rich Republicans, led by billionaire Mike Bloomberg and the corporate executives of ABC News, are demanding to host the first Presidential town hall meeting on Wall Street.
Why? It's obvious: they want to fill the hall with other rich Republicans and attack Barack Obama for supporting tax cuts for hard-working Americans instead of the rich.
Senator Obama, we urge you to Just Say No to the Rich Republican Town Hall - and instead to hold the first debate in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans in an event controlled by We the People, not the Corporate Media.

Petition
Dear Senator Obama,
Rich Republicans, led by billionaire Mike Bloomberg and the corporate executives of ABC/Disney, are demanding to host the first Presidential town hall meeting on Wall Street. We welcome all debates with John "McSame," but this particular request is outrageous for many reasons:
First, Mike Bloomberg is a Republican billionaire who gives to (and raises money for) Republicans.
Second, ABC News hosted the very worst Presidential debate (and there was a lot of competition!) on April 16. The first hour was devoted to outrageous and meaningless questions, including one attacking Obama's patriotism that was written by Sean Hannity! Later, Charlie Gibson attacked Obama for wanting to slightly increase the capital gains tax, which would take a few pennies out of Gibson's (and Bloomberg's) cavernous pockets.
Third, ABC hosted the outrageous 'Path to 9/11,' a rightwing Big Lie which falsely smeared President Clinton to shift blame away from George Bush.
Fourth, the proposed host is Diane Sawyer, who rose to fame and fortune defending Richard Nixon as Ron Ziegler's deputy during Watergate.
Finally, they want to hold the Town Hall on Wall Street so they can fill the hall with other super-rich Republicans and attack Obama for wanting to raise their taxes.
Senator Obama, we urge you to Just Say No to the Rich Republican Town Hall - and instead to hold the first debate in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans in an event controlled by We the People, not the Corporate Media.

Update 3:20 pm ET: we won!! Both Obama and McCain rejected the proposal because they don't want one TV network to control these events - they want them on all the networks and the Internet too :)
My, my how things have changed. Now, Obama refuses to be interviewed by Fox, he criticizes the Fox network, makes fun of people who aren’t in his camp and now he’s totally in bed with ABC and is very busy paying back favors to the lobbyists and special interest groups. Remember he said he would NOT be about politics as usual. Bull Crap!
Is this fair and balanced? Does this show all sides and other alternatives to socialism?
– A spokesperson for ABC News said Wednesday that an ad offering a free-market alternative to President Obama's health care reform plan -- submitted for airing during the network’s upcoming primetime special on Obama's health care plan -- was rejected because the network does not accept “advocacy advertising.”. . .Click here for the full article

How about this.
Diane Sawyer to Kurtz: I’m super-proud of our Obama health-care informercial
Except it’s not an infomercial, you see. It’s a “serious conversation,” even though (a) no one from the opposing party is invited to converse and (b) no one who opposes Obama’s agenda is allowed to advertise during the program.
Remember this, if you decide to cozy up to this snake you WILL be bitten. Don’t drink the Kool Aid!
