Can You Hear The Giant Flushing Sound?

Yep, that’s our country doing a big swirly right down the toilet. So much to tell you and so little time. But here’s some highlights.

Did you know our country is out of money? Did you know that Obama admits this and goes on to say it’s because of Healthcare. He is still planning on spending, spending and even more spending. But we have no money!!!! WTF???

Here it is.

Drudge reported:

'WE'RE OUT OF MONEY'
Sat May 23 2009 10:32:18 ET

In a sobering holiday interview with C-SPAN, President Obama boldly told Americans:

"We are out of money."

C-SPAN host Steve Scully broke from a meek Washington press corps with probing questions for the new president.

SCULLY: You know the numbers, $1.7 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money?

OBAMA: Well, we are out of money now. We are operating in deep deficits, not caused by any decisions we've made on health care so far. This is a consequence of the crisis that we've seen and in fact our failure to make some good decisions on health care over the last several decades.

So we've got a short-term problem, which is we had to spend a lot of money to salvage our financial system, we had to deal with the auto companies, a huge recession which drains tax revenue at the same time it's putting more pressure on governments to provide unemployment insurance or make sure that food stamps are available for people who have been laid off.

So we have a short-term problem and we also have a long-term problem. The short-term problem is dwarfed by the long-term problem. And the long-term problem is Medicaid and Medicare. If we don't reduce long-term health care inflation substantially, we can't get control of the deficit.

So, one option is just to do nothing. We say, well, it's too expensive for us to make some short-term investments in health care. We can't afford it. We've got this big deficit. Let's just keep the health care system that we've got now.

Along that trajectory, we will see health care cost as an overall share of our federal spending grow and grow and grow and grow until essentially it consumes everything...

Well, DUH... Not only does he want to continue printing worthless money to pay for socialized healthcare, let's not forget the Gazillion dollars he wants to spend on "green initiatives." What part of "You can't spend your way out of debt." does he NOT understand?

Now, what about Sotomayor as the Supreme Court Justice pick? I watched a bit about her and am not surprised that she is the pick. God help us. Here’s how Glenn Beck puts it, in his news letter.

Empathy trumps legality
Judge Sonia Sotomayor is Obama's nominee for Supreme Court Justice. Get ready for some sweet bench legislation coming our way, as she did in the New Haven Firefighter case where she was on a panel that tossed out a case based on empathy rather than legality. But that shouldn't be surprising from someone who says stuff like: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion (as a judge) than a white male who hasn't lived that life” -Sonia Sotomayor. She's also smooth. After her comments on legislating from the bench she says "This is on tape, I probably shouldn't be saying this." Obama sure knows how to pick em' eh?

Do you remember the New Haven Firefighter case? I do and she was dead wrong. In case you forgot, click here to read more. Here’s a snip from the article.

In 2003, the city [of New Haven, Connecticut] gave promotion exams--prepared by a firm specializing in employment tests, and approved, as federal law requires, by independent experts--to 118 candidates, 27 of them black. None of the blacks did well enough to qualify for the 15 immediately available promotions. After a rabble-rousing minister with close ties to the mayor disrupted meetings and warned of dire political consequences if the city promoted persons from the list generated by the exams, the city said: No one will be promoted.

Sotomayor ruled against the firefighters

According to her bio Sotomayor was born in the Bronx, N.Y., to Puerto Rican parents and was raised in a housing project. Her father, a factory worker, died when she was nine-years-old. Her mother, a nurse, raised Sotomayor, who was diagnosed with diabetes at age eight. She then went on to graduate summa cum laude from Princeton University in 1976. She earned her law degree from Yale Law School in 1979.

I have a question. Who paid for her to go to such elite schools and pursue such an advanced career? Before you wet your pants that I’m prejudice hear this. I was a 4.0 grade average college student. I excelled. But, I was not eligible for scholarships at my college (lots of hispanics in Texas). I was TOLD by a professor that it was because I was NOT Hispanic. I fought and fought but lost every time. The same thing happened in graduate school. I could not finish because of the cost.

But here we have woman who did not pay her own way and then rules against fire fighters that deserved a promotion and instead HANDED IT to the exam flunkees.

One more thing. Listen to this. If a white person had said this they would have been ripped apart and called a racist. Hmmmm.

I’m so excited and can’t wait to see how she and the Obamalama dispense unjust justice.

The making of the New World Order continues. Yes I am bitter because I earned the right to be recognized for my accomplishments but was not because others who were not doing nearly as well had to be lifted up over me. Now they are ruling us.

There’s plenty more to talk about but, time prohibits me. I really hope you realize what precious rights and freedoms are being taken away from you.

Quite frankly I am deafened by the sound of my elected legistlature disappearing down the 'expenses' toilet that they created in their greed.
I shall give any water required to flush the lying badstards into the sewer where they belong.
From across the pond all strength to the truth.
