No Snow and Oldie But Goodie

Just watched the weather report and our chance of flurries is gone.  Just some rain.  I would like just a nice dusting sometime this winter.    Who knows, maybe the forecast will change.

Some of you may have noticed the new profile pic I posted.  I was just 4 in that picture.  We were vacationing at a working dairy farm in Vermont.  It was an awesome experience.  Anyway, while I was uploading all my pics (still not done) to Smug Mug, I came across this one.  This was taken at the same time.  Even though I was only 4 I remember the vacation like it was yesterday. Good Times!!!!!

Just a couple things going on. My cooking was a disaster this weekend.  I was planning on making a Mexican Pie but it turned out terrible.  I guess it will be another week of nuking some instant foods for lunch.  Oh well, I’ve had to do it before and I can do it again.

Here’s a piece of trivia. I think I’ve narrowed down who Pat is.  I’ll know for sure in a few weeks.

One more thing. I tried to get my credit reports this morning and I’m locked out of all 3.  Hmmm, very strange.  I immediately put a fraud alert on them and contacted the company that handles my ID Theft Insurance. First time I’ve had to give them a try so we’ll see how they work out.    Once this is squared away I’ll be putting a freeze on all three bureaus.

On a crappy note, my sinuses are flaring up again.  I just hope it’s a passing thing and doesn’t progress into a killer sinus infection.  Also, I may have to cave and see the orthopaedic surgeon about my rotator cuff.  My left shoulder is really beating me up.  I don’t want to go to the Doc because my insurance really blows.  This is a new year and I have a brand new deductible and all the other nickel and dime charges.  I’m not ready for any extra bills.

Now I have to try and catch up with everyone.  Not sure that will happen.  I have to preserve my shoulder for work and using the computer keyboard really aggravates it.  So, if I don’t get by to see you don’t feel slighted.  I will probably read most all the blogs that I follow but I might now be able to comment.
