Tomorrow is back to work. That's a good thing even though it will take a few days to get back in the groove. I already know of some billable work that should be ready to land on my plate next week. So, I can't take too long to get in gear.
My vacation wasn't perfect, but they never are.
I'm not really complaining because most of life is not perfect.
I did spend a lot of my vacation time just running through scenarios, running numbers, thinking about options and possibilities. I still haven't made a choice from all the options I laid out for myself.
It takes me a long time to make a decision and then, sometimes, it's still the wrong one. I want to hit a couple of significant goals in 2009. I know I will hit one but the second one is going to be hard and require major belt tightening. I don't know how much more I can tighten but I'm gonna try. So, I may not hit my second goal by the end of the year. But, I'm going to give it all I've got.
One more thing. My SIL sent a few holiday pics and I thought this one was the best. Here's Mom with Daryl and his daughters (Abby and Lauren). Abby is 7 and Lauren just turned 9.

Good thing you were on vacation when you were sick otherwise you would have had to miss work. I am glad that you are feeling better. I hope you reach your goals this year. Great picture. Hugs, Helen
you a tuff person you got something on your mind you go full speed
Good luck with your goals. The thing is, even if you do not complete them, you are so much further ahead than if you were not working toward them :o)
I love the photo! Your mom looks so happy! THen, she always looks happy. =)
I'm glad you're feeling better. Sorry you were sick during vacation though. You're right, life isn't perfect.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
take care
I hope you make your goals for the year. I've set a few myself but seems hubby has already broken them, LOL.
Back to work for me tomorrow too ~ ugh. I have only worked 1 day in two and 1/2 weeks so it's going to be hard to pull myself away from the farm!
Have a good day at the office. ;)
Nice picture of mom and the girls. They are growing up, looking more like young ladies now.
Good luck with your goals. I'm putting my money on you to achieve them this year. Dawn
