Forward Thinking

I have been thinking about things that I want to accomplish this coming year.  Some of it will cost a bit of money.  I really want to replace the windows and the wooden frame around them.  But, considering other issues, I will only do the upstairs.  This will be a Spring project, for sure.  There are a total of 4 windows so it won't be a total bank buster.

I really want to gripe about something but I won't. I will just say this.  If I can smell it through the door, there's something wrong.  Now, you can read into that whatever you like. smile_omg

I can't wait until I am living alone and enjoying the living part of life. If things continue the way they are right now, I'll be out of debt on April 15 (Yes, tax day).

I have seeds coming for Spring and I hope I can grow some of these veggies in big pots.  I think they will do OK.

Oh, about the blogs that I am going to shut down.  The only ones that will be going away are my Finance blog (Bare Bones Living) and my Vegan Cooking Blog (Faceless Eating).  The rest I will keep.

So, with that said, here's to the holidays and thoughts of Spring.

My thoughts turned toward Spring because of the pics Mom sent.  She forgot about these.

This is Lauren and Abby digging up potatoes they grew in Grandma's backyard.  Barefoot in the dirt--It doesn't get any better than that!

Don't these pics make you want to go play in the dirt?

The photos of the girls are sweet and only at that age would they get away being bare foot and wearing gloves!

Good for you getting out of debt soon. Those pictures are cute. Looking at the last one of Lauren that big potato looks like it has a face. Nice size potato also. Helen
