Well, I'm in the office today. My termite inspection is done. All is well. He did suggest I fix the facing on one of the upstairs windows. That will be a handy guy job for sure. But, not now.
I am trying to NOT watch the news but I am becoming a closet news junkie. But, I did good. I did NOT watch the debates. Why? I've already voted and it will just piss me off. I did listen to CNN almost all day yesterday.
What can I do? I am just keeping on my path and in 6 months I'll be debt free and then I'll add more to my emergency fund until I have a full year of expenses. That shouldn't take too long. Well, it will take several months but that's better than several years. I am not going to panic and change my plans. Eyes on the future and one foot in front of the other.
Now, something I found that you might like.
Check this out. I know some folks don't like to use Flash or may have problems running Flash on an older computer. I know these same folks like to tweak their pics and make them special. So many of the online tools use Flash and that creates a problem. Until now!
If you want to edit photos in your web browser without loading Flash, Silverlight, Java, or any other overly bloated plug-in, check out DrPic.com, a very cool full-featured online image editor. It will take some time to get used to it but it gets the job done. Just upload your pic and go to town. When you're done, you can save it to your computer or on the web. Yep, they will host your pic for you.
Here's a clip from their web site to show you what options are available. I played around with a pic and just tested out some features. Pretty cool.
See, doesn't that look easy? Now, here's what you get when you click on Save To Web. Yes if you type the link in your browser it does work. Don't judge the picture I was just messing around to give you an idea.
I hope you guys enjoy this little goodie.

I missed the debate tonight. I'm sure I will find it online later - after I go get some much needed rest! I haven't voted yet but, I'm pretty sure of who I want to vote for.

I didn't watch the debate, I caught up on my CSI's I had on DVR instead. Well done on the financial plan you have in place - now is the time for everyone to start being prudent. The editing progam looks cool & easy to use.
Very good financial plan! I haven't watched any of the presidential "game show" at all ~ I know who I'm going to vote for & I'm tired of all the lies...LOL.
I have Paint Shop Pro and your program you show on your Blog is much like it! Thanks for sharing :) Have a great day (& week) Blessings* Teresa
You've got some really cool stuff here, I'll have to come back when I learn how to use my computer better. lol I get distracted by other things and forget what I'm supposed to be learning. I'll get it, though!
I didn't watch the debate, my patience with all the "crap" is wearing pretty thin.
Have a great Wednesday!

Happy all went well with the inspection..and it is a good feeling for you to be debt free almost...wish we had that same feeling...right now..large family big bills...not for us anytime soon...hugs and love,
Joyce
Glad the termites have stayed away. As far as the news thing goes. I too find myself gravitating to it during the day. The picture editor sounds good but, right now I'm having enough trouble working with this new Blogger. My Regards, Bill
Keep sticking to your financial plan. When Ken and I got married, he came up with a plan to get us out of his divorce debt, and we stuck to it. The only debt we have now is our house. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it!

Keep up with your plan to get out of debt. Is this a retirement plan, or a plan to start saving for the future? :o)
