Can you believe it? I've set up my computer and installed everything I wanted and then did a full system backup. No problems. The biggest change was the monitor. It's a 22" wide screen. Here's what it looks like after all was said and done.
It's awesome. Anyway, here's the PC. Pretty boring and I think it looks like most all other PCs out there.
So, there you have it. All set up and ready to rock n roll. The main thing is being able to connect to my work network. I can and it works perfectly.
Just a note. My office web cam will be down until I rearrange my office. Once it's back up it will be using the web cam in the monitor. It's excellent and picture quality is great. I can also add effects and stuff so it will be fun. Stay tuned for that. Realistically the cam probably won't be up and running much before Thanksgiving. But I will let you know as soon as it is ready to go.
I cooked up the Lentil cakes just like I promised. I will have the recipe posted on Faceless Eating. My pictures did not come out very well but I've always said I am not a good food photographer. Suffice it say, the cakes were delicious.

Oh my God, that monitor is HUGE! Reminds me of when I went from a 15inch monitor to a 17...I felt like the thing was LOOMING over me. LOL

My screen is just like your.... I widened it and now I can see everything without my computer glasses.... Leo can read it without glasses from the chair accross the room... I love Mine

Your computer looks similiar to mine. I sent back the wide monitor because I prefer the more square ones. Of course mine was not that large. I think a 19 inch one. I ended up getting one from Bestbuy.

Great set up hon! I don't know what I would do with a larger moniter. Mine's a 17 now. Paul however is complaining about wanting things bigger (what is it with men and having to have everything huge). Enjoy getting acquainted with the new equipment. (Hugs)Indigo

The new computer looks awesome. I'd have to move to make room for something that big. I like my portability, though.
