Mom's Birthday and BOA Contact

Today is Mom's birthday.  I never did get any info from her and I didn't get an answer from my brother and SIL to the email I sent.  Oh well, I just sent her a nice e-card and I will call her later on today.

Now, here's some good news.  I always read the stuff posted over at The Consumerist.  They have great stuff.  Anyway, it was through this site I found the email addresses of the executive customer service folks for Bank of America.  I fired off an email to three of them. A couple of days went by and I was beginning to get discouraged.  But, last night I got a response.  If I can get what I want without changing banks, I will be happy.  Anyway, here's the email I received.

Ms. *******:

First and foremost, please accept my apologies for the frustration caused as a result of this matter.  Although I regret the reason that prompted your inquiry, I am glad that you took the time to bring these concerns to our attention.  In order to resolve this matter completely I will need additional information regarding your accounts and would like the opportunity to speak with you directly.

As we typically do not correspond by email because it is not a secured channel for providing confidential information, I ask that you please contact me at the number below at your convenience.  Alternatively, if you would prefer, you may reply to this message and provide your phone number and convenient time, and I would be happy to phone you.

I sent him an email asking what time, today, would be convenient.  I hope to connect with him today and get this resolved.  I'll keep you posted.

We finally got some rain last night.  A pretty good rainfall and the plants sure enjoyed it.  I caught another big bucket of water so that replenished some of the water I used to keep the potted plants going.  Still need some more and we should get more over the next few days.
